6. Didn't the neo-Conservatives have a vote of no confidence go against them?
Doesn't that mean that most of the elected officials voted against them, probably with pressure from the people?

7. No Confidence vote was instigated by the Liberal Party for political reasons...
...dealing with conduct of the Conservatives in the Parliament, not based on public disenchantment with policy positions.

There was also (according to CBC) apparently a degree of tactical voting with centrist Liberal voters supporting the Conservatives rather than the more progressive NDP.

3. As of now those horrible neo-cons are near an outright marjority
with just 39% of the vote. Sad if so.
