"Give me just one more chance...."
A recent Gallup poll said that 52% of Republicans were unhappy with their Party and would vote for a Third Party if given the chance.

Did the Republicans not see this? Do they not follow Gallup? He's is usually very kind to them.

In the last election, the Party big shots begged the Tea Party to give them another chance. They had learned their lesson, they said. They would not run up the debt again. They were into fiscal discipline for real this time, they said. However, they forgot to tell the aging Tea Partiers that their plan was to destroy Medicare, which many of them depend on or will depend on very soon.

It appears that the GOP read the last election the wrong way. Now, the majority in their own Party say they would prefer to vote for another Party. Still, the Republicans in Washington do not feel the earth moving under their feet. Their incompetence has reached historic proportion. Even the Tea Party sees them as fools wed to an ideology.

The majority of Americans agree that the wealthy should pay more in taxes, even Tea Partiers. The majority of Americans do not want Medicare to be destroyed in the name of deficit reduction. The GOP in Washington is walking in a minefield. When it explodes, the bullshit will be spread far and wide.

2. Fools wed to an ideology
Most Republicans want the Republican Party of Ike. So do I. We have been overrun by corrupt fascists.
