Every time you bring up someone who didn't resign, you should qualify it with someone who did.

Wiener not only did what he did, he then summoned the press to HIS OFFICE, looked into their cameras, and lied. He used the press as an attempt to make fools of all of us. Each time he looked into the camera, he might as well have been looking me in the face.

That and the fact he claimed to be a victim of a federal crime make his situation completely different from the rest.

For petes sake, he left the fricking country - and didn't even designate a chain of command.

What if something happened, a tornado, a massive fire or some other natural disaster. Aren't there things that only a Gov can do, such as call out the national guard. I can't believe this was ever off the radar, all the media heads and dem leaders should have called for his resignation and not stopped until he did resign. What he did was dangerous to his citizens.

Much, much worse than sexcapades, his own or anyone else's.
