House votes to defund War in Libya
Edited on Wed Jun-15-11 05:52 AM by Scuba

Rachel and guest Rep Brad Sherman (D-Ca) discuss the bipartisan vote to defund the war in Libya, which got zero votes from the leaders of both Parties, but passed with overwhelming support.

But apparently no one cares, as it goes virtually unreported.

Runs 7:11.

on edit: Seems Daffy stole $33 Billion and hid it in the US. Or he tried to hide it, but we found it. So why aren't we using it to fund the war there, instead of taxpayer dollars? Would a major banking institution who was in bed with Daffy have something to do with it?

2. if we seized the money, and money is being spent to fight there...
...then what is the difference?

Money is fungible. Do we really need to put that exact same amount directly into the pentagon to satisfy people? Do we really want to put another $33 Billion into the pentagon?

Sounds like a bull shit argument to me.

3. Good start. Now defund the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
We'll have a surplus again before you know it.

5. I posted a thread about this yesterday
It sank like Bin Laden's corpse.

Congress actually obeyed the law and no one cares.
