Hey everyone! It's the new Mad Libs game, Rick Scott edition!
http://www.rickscottforflorida.com/2011/06/14/email-a-newspaper-editor/

Hey lurking teabaggers!

Want to write a letter to the editor praising Florida Gov. Rick Scott, but haven't quite mastered them writin' skills yet? No worries, Rick Scott has done all the hard work for you. All you have to do is click on the link above and supply your name (might have to get one of your neighbors to make sure you spell it correctly), city (optional - you can get the spelling for that from your KKK newsletter), then just select which Florida newspaper you want to send your letter to. Don't forget to click on 'Send Message'. Voila (French for 'there you go'), all done!

For my fellow DUers,

Apparently Rick Scott's staff forgot to lock the verbiage of the pre-written letter, which means you can edit it however you want. For instance, here's what I came up with:

Dear Editor,

When Rick Scott ran for Governor he promised to create jobs and turn our economy around. I didn't vote for Rick because he’s always been a criminal, not a politician. While politicians usually disappoint us and rarely keep their promises, Rick is insulting because he’s screwing his state. His policies are helping to attract racists to our state and get criminals back to work. Some of the special interests are praising the Governor for making fun decisions, showing hypocrisy, and doing what he told us he would do. Rick Scott deserves to be pelted with rotten vegetables. How can we expect to elect criminals who will line their pockets and do what’s right for themselves if we don’t stand up for those with the courage to cut budgets, slash services, and actually deliver on their threats made?

Have fun, see what you can come up with! And most importantly, don't forget to send your edited letters to the editor!

1. Thanks for the tip! Here's mine...
I edited their boilerplate in a couple of places

Dear Editor,

When Rick Scott ran for Governor he promised to create jobs and turn our economy around. I voted for Rick because I always vote for Republicans without really knowing anything about the issues beyond my own deeply held, mean little prejudices. Rick has always been a businessman, not a politician. While politicians usually disappoint us and rarely keep their promises, Rick always disappoints us because he’s keeping his word. His policies are helping to repel businesses from our state and keep people out of work. Some of the special interests are attacking the Governor for making tough decisions, showing signs of sociopathic behavior, and doing what he told us he would do and even worse. Rick Scott deserves our unwavering and withering criticism. How can we expect to elect leaders who will keep their word and do what’s right for our state if we don’t excoriate those who set toxic priorities, make dangerous choices, and actually deliver on their deadly promises made?

3. Oh, this looks like fun! Can I try?

Dear Editor,

Rick Scott is a felon who belongs in federal prison for Medicare fraud. He also thinks newspaper editors are dumber than rocks not to notice the slew of almost identically-worded letters they are getting off his website. The quicker we impeach him and put him in jail, the better off we will be.

--edited to fix the kind of fraud he actually committed...--
