Party like there’s no tomorrow

These are truly strange times. Say all you want about disfunction in the Democratic party. I won’t argue with much of it.

But the GOP in its current incarnation is a stunningly peculiar thing. I won’t go into the particulars just now. If you haven’t noticed already, chances are you haven’t been paying any attention, or are a nut yourself. The best you can say for the Tea Party is they correctly suspect that the game is rigged to their disadvantage by some kind of elites somewhere, but what they don’t get is they are the patsies in the game.

But the truly noteworthy thing is that the elites who fund the GOP, and uh, yes, the funding part is what it’s about, have decided that it is in their interest to play US politics through THIS incarnation of the Republican party. That is what is amazing, and genuinely terrifying.

1. the USA is going down

It is going to get ugly. And they are going to grab as much as they can. It is getting ugly and desperate.

They are actively destroying the nation. Actively.

They are looking out for their masters. But the whole shit is about to go down.

And they might be sorry when the whole thing goes down. They are too greedy for their own good. No more "consumers."
