Scarborough blames producer for Halpernin "mishap"..
During the Morning Joe show, host Joe Scarborough hoped to prevent the comment from being broadcast, saying, “Delay that. Delay that. What are you doing? I can’t believe… don’t do that. Did we delay that?”

Just minutes later, Halperin quickly apologized on the air to the president and viewers for his choice of words. “Joking aside, this is an absolute apology. I shouldn’t have said it. I apologize to the president and the viewers who heard me say that,” Halperin said.

“We’re going to have a meeting after the show,” Scarborough said.

According to Scarborough, there had been a mishap with the seven-second delay button – a new executive producer apparently didn’t know how it worked. “You are supposed to know how to do the job,” Scarborough said of his producer. “I would tell you what I think of him, but he doesn’t know what button to push.”

3. Really? With all the bullshit they spew on that show daily...
the line you can't cross is calling the president a dick?

That makes sense.

5. Would Halperin have been suspended if his words hadn't been broadcast?
In other words, would MSNBC still have him on the air knowing his real attitude?

10. Halperin still said it. He was wrong to have disrespected anyone like that.

22. No. He was wrong to drop his poker face.
I can understand disrespect.

I'm amazed that he just committed an "unforced error" of that magnitude.

I am not condoning incivility, but this is show business.

20. No.and we have all known his attitude..
about the President,he scowls everytime Obama is mentioned and gives that look like how dare he.

He and the republiCON party are angry because Obama told some truths and they look like it as how dare that n----- tell us anything. I heard someone on CNN say that the RepubliCONS are saying worse behind the scenes and how angry they are.

He should be,should have been telling these asshole what most of us have known for a long time, this bipartisan bullshit is getting tiresome..

From my family to you and your republiCONS KISS MY NATURAL-----ASS!!!!!

If you don't want to chance having language not being "delayed" or "bleeped", don't say it at all.

14. Yes. This is a training issue. The producer did push one of the delay buttons but
there was ANOTHER one that he clearly had not been trained to use. If he had been trained properly -- which he obviously wasn't -- then it would have not gone out over the air.

I would hate to see the "little guy" blamed...he received inadequate training...

16. Cancel the show...it's what the GOP would demand of Democrats.
In fact, Time Magazine should be shut down. Seriously...if a Democrat made any statement like that against a Republican, they'd have their house foreclosed and their children sent to DYS. But IOKIYAR.

17. MSNBC should just cancel the whole show.
Mika is useless and Joe is a jackass. It's just not very good TV.

I have an idea! Why not produce a news show that primarily covers current world events instead of just politics, politics, politics.

19. What Scar means is...
that they didn't cover for him like they usually do. When someone comes on and kicks Scar's ass we never can find the video.

They usually post the republiCON talking points where all white men on the panel tell the country what is good for them and how it goes. Melissa lacewell hasn't shown up lately or anyone who is going to tell them where to shove it.
