Hilarious "Undefeated" review from "Time"
http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,2083284,00.html

"The first hour of The Undefeated, scrupulously attentive to Palin's rise through state politics, is pretty rough going, a turgid primer in Alaska's pipeline management and oil, gas and, yes, milk subsidies. The movie may tempt even the most ardent conservatives to emulate their idol's tenure as Governor and walk out halfway through."

2. I'll be honest, I didn't even know she had a movie coming out.
Who was fool enough to pay money to create something like this?

7. It's appears they're taking that whole "nonprofit" thing to a new level.
What idiots. Knowing who was behind it makes its failure all the sweeter. :D

6. I didn't either -- and I'd actually heard of the film by its title, but had no idea it was about her
Who would hear the movie title The Undefeated and think it was about the defeated VP candidate from the most recent presidential election?

8. I wondered about the name as well.
What choices did they have though? Calling it "The Loser" or "The Quitter" wouldn't have done them any better with their desired audience.

5. LOL! Another less than flattering quote from the article...
"...she could be a sing-song showgirl playing a hip Sunday school matron, winking at the class behind her granny glasses and making some of the older students hot for teacher."

Pretty well sums up her "style," such as it is. :D

9. The Undefeated's Rotten Tomatoes rating --
0%! Eight reviews -- all negative! And the Time Magazine review isn't listed yet!

Once you realize the film is just going to be a string of encomiums against a backdrop of frantically edited archival material... it's clear that no meaningful analysis of the woman's career or political agenda will be forthcoming. -- Todd McCarthy, Hollywood Reporter

The Undefeated flatlines after an hour of empty back-patting and no dramatic edge. Bannon actively avoids any of Palin's setbacks, downplaying the entire 2008 presidential campaign to a few minutes of screen time. -- Eric Kohn, indieWIRE

In one stump speech shown near the end of The Undefeated, Palin exclaims brightly, "There's nothing wrong in America a good ol'-fashioned election can't fix!" That's about as honest as this piece of propaganda. -- Anna Merlan, Village Voice

A troop-rallying campaign infomercial as imagined by Michael Bay: hero-worshipping, crescendo-edited at a dizzying pace, thunderously repetitive and its own worst enemy as a two-hour, talking-points briefing. -- Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times

12. That's not what they're saying over at FR....
"Go".

In fact go more than once! I bought two extra tickets as a souvenir, and eventual retirement plan.

(current selling price for the pair of first day tickets if anyone is interested, $2500 each) Limited time at this price.

/joke Sort of ... :D

Excellent movie. Flawlessly done. Genuinely inspiring.

It is so honestly wonderful to watch a full length, major theater movie, and not have to filter out subtle hollywood gay whales propanganda at every turn.

It's everything you want in a movie, without all the leftist stuff you do not want in a movie.
Go.

The stupid is strong in these people; not sure there's any hope. Also not sure what "gay whales" are.
