Won't the POTUS get taken to the woodshed if he cuts the big 3 even IF taxes are raised?
and especially if taxes are raised, to boot?

I don't get it... what is he fighting for?

5. with this approach, yes
but if he was fighting for tax increases to preserve entitlements, now that would be a whole different story... one many would get behind, according to the polls.
