Agencies are short on funds and the need is desparate. It saddens me that little attention is paid to this crisis while millions are on the brink of starvation.

2. At the UN they are calling it donor fatigue

According folks at the UN & UNICEF, this problem is getting so big and predicted to go on for so long that expected donations will only delay the inevitable.

This is a situation that is a combination of climate change, political instability, over population, and lack of transportation infrastructure. None of which will be fixed quickly.

Right now it's the Horn of Africa, wait for the day food shortages hit Europe, China, or North America.
