I know what you are NOT
If you want progressive principles first and feel too many of our reps have compromised too much you are NOT a tool of the RW doing their dirty work for them to throw elections.

If you understand politics involves give and what little representation we still left is doing their best in trying times you are NOT a feckless cheerleader who indulges crooks.

You are my fellow progressive and I hope you are my friend. We have a lot of work to do and I want to be there at your side as we try to bring the best standard of living, social justice and dignity to the world we all share. Sometimes our words with each other seem terse but it's not because we don't care about each other or the larger issues. It's because we do care that sometimes our passions get the best of us. We're still here and we're still going through this together.

1. Bravo!!!! It is because we care that we get testy. When we stop
caring it is time to throw in the towel.

2. Absolutely
My worry is that while caring sometimes leads us to getting testy the people we're speaking with only see the testiness and forget that it's because we care.

I want to remind my friends here that if I get testy it isn't because I find fault with them or what they believe; I know they are good people and they care.
