This is from Chris Cillizza's blog, The Fix.

“Patriots” are tasked with collecting $500,000 and promised a co-chairmanship of Perry’s national finance committee and a “VIP Republican National Convention Package” that includes a hospitality suite and a VIP reception at the national party convention.

“Entrepreneurs,”who must raise $250,000, are promised membership on the national finance committee and “regular reports from campaign leadership.”

“Explorers” must raise $100,000 and are promised invitations to “special events at the Republican National Convention.”

And “Pilots” must bring in $50,000 and are invited to host committee receptions when events are held in their respective states.

3. So you pay Perry $50,000 for the "priviledge" of hosting committee receptions (presumably in your

own home or location)?

And for $250k you get an E-mail every week that says "yep, we still hate everybody but white evangelicals".

The whole thing sounds like even more of a waste of money.

4. If I were a Perry supporter/donor, I'd prefer a tote bag or an umbrella over all those options.

You know your candidates fundraising operation is shite when PBS gives out better merch than they do.

I want my VIP Republican National Convention Package to be in Somalia, with every single Republican members there at Perry's expense for a prayerzoola and a convienent place to nuke Mecca before pissing off the A-rabs!! Yessiiirree Bob, Yee-Ha!!!1
