The Republicans are strangling themselves.
There's a video floating around somewhere of a Republican in a townhall meeting trying to show charts of medicare costs that needed to be cut and the entire room broke into a chant: Where's the jobs! Where's the jobs!

It occurred to me that if Republicans cut enough social programs that right-wingers are going to create enough hardship cases to send voters to the Democrats. Of course, whether this results in actual votes depends on Democrats being smart enough to seize the moment. Isn't it becoming obvious? Right-wingers are destroying safety nets without creating jobs. How can the Democrats lose in this situation?

1. They are proving to people they were voting against their own
best interests. Before they had them fooled. Cut the Medicaid Earl depends on to save his kids life and all of a sudden his guns aren't so important.

3. Until we figure out how to explain that we have to prime the pump
they are winning the PR war on "taxes".

The non-involved in this country don't *get* how this works, and compare it to their own checkbook. Less taxes to them means Applebees instead of McDonalds, so they extrapolate that into less taxes on corporations = jobs.

We need to simplify the 'jobs are created by demand' message, we are swimming upstream.

6. Everytime I get an email from a Republican my answer back is
always "The Republican Party of NO - nothing for the people". That usually stops the next one. I'm sure not getting them like I used to. I think real Republicans are embarrassed by their party.

12. Tea bagger definition
You can't get anything out of a tea bagger unless you put them in hot water, them they are only good for one shot, they are now all wet and ready for the garbage. Useless.

8. Democrats winning is not the goal. Eliminating Corp control of Congress is the goal
and so far the Democrats arent on that bandwagon.

10. Actually I think that all the rethugs need to do is keep threatening
all these things and enough voters will wake up. They are already furious about Social Security and Medicare. Unfortunately they are also mad because President Obama put them on the table.

16. Our leadership gets more Democratic.
When we have so many Dem politicians on the millionaire list, it's no wonder why they're not pushing back so hard.

18. Obama needs to do what a Republican would have done by now.
Declare blue cities and states an emergency zone and funnel federal money into them. The red states will begin asking for their share soon enough.
