For me from $82 a week to $126 a week. Oh and my drug co-pay on 4 of my drugs is up by 60% too so it's now going to cost $320 a month for my drugs.

The good thing is we should be glad we still have health insurance.

At the end of every week after all expenses and gas money for the week, I'll have $40 for food.

3. My health insurance rates go up every September.
Of the plans offered, I'm on the bottom run. I've been stepping down every year. This September I'm taking the last step possible: the policy for catastrophic coverage with an hsa.

As a public employee, my pay has been decreasing every year for the last few years, while my insurance costs go up.

4. Well, that sucks. Is there a drug-company prescription-help option for you, for
some of your meds? Can you switch to less expensive ones? Maybe your doc can help in this case.

6. That is quite suckful
Not much you can do on the premium but you can ask your doc about generics if your drugs are name brands, or switching to a different drug. You can also check out Canadian drugs - saves my MIL a good 100 bucks a month.

Come on 2014, get here already!

12. That hasn't started yet.
I think insurance companies are in a hurry to jack up premiums now, so that they can maximize profits before the law takes effect, actually. Weaselly bastards.

14. Oh, it's happened! All known information is baked into the price. Right now.
That's Econ 101.

9. I have a family member whose monthly food budget
is $50. Same reason: cost of meds. That, and unemployment.

15. Uh, (sigh) those options are exhausted, 4 of my drugs are not available generic
After two brain tumors and two other surgeries do you think I would have gone down every road to make my life simpler?
