I didn't vote for him initially, but he has been a pleasant surprise in many ways.

He has really stepped up child support collection in the state to my personal knowledge, as well as statistically. He has been successfully prosecuting the pedophile cult formerly known as the FLDS, and he's actually gotten some consumer wins in (and if you live here, you know how hard that is!)

He's also defended the 10 commandments display (can't have everything).

He's in a wheelchair, BTW, and his local staff is far more professional than his predecessors.
