Country Michelle and the Fish...
"Give me an F!" "Give me a U!..."

Michelle Bachman sounds like a cheerleader every time she gives a speech. She does a good job of getting the Tea Party on its feet. But, she is a gaffe machine. Every time she cheers, she seems to put her foot in her mouth - except when she is eating a foot-long corn dog...

But this cheering monotone voice is her spiel. It will soon become apparent even to her followers and she will fade back into the woodwork from whence she came.

She is not a serious candidate for President. Unfortunately, she is not alone.

2. The Red Menace returns
Whereas Palin infamously kept an eye on Russia through her window, Bachman now warns us to keep an equally wary eye on the Soviet Union. No matter that the Soviet Union hasn't existed in 20 years - that's all semantics apparently to our intrepid heroine cum comedienne.
Comedic gold in the making.

Rove thinks Palin will run for White House

Karl Rove said Sunday he thinks former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will get into the Republican presidential contest.

Mr. Rove, the top political adviser in the George W. Bush administration, said Mrs. Palin’s appearances earlier this month in Iowa look “more like a candidate’s schedule than that of a celebrity.”

Mr. Rove, in an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” cited the release last week of a slick, campaign-style video of Mrs. Palin shaking hands and speaking at the Iowa State Fair.

Political observers, including Mr. Rove, have speculated that Mrs. Palin could make an announcement about her candidacy on Sept. 3, when she is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a large tea party gathering in Iowa.
