Poll question: Do you agree with the premise of this artciel by Nouriel Robini?
http://www.businessinsider.com/roubini-revolution-will-spread-2011-8

The first four paragraphs:
"NYU Professor Nouriel Roubini has moved beyond predicting catastrophic economic downturns. Now, he's saying that capitalism itself is threatened.

He also thinks the uprisings that have roiled countries from Asia to the Middle East to Europe will soon spread.

"Recent popular demonstrations, from the Middle East to Israel to the UK, and rising popular anger in China - and soon enough in other advanced economies and emerging markets - are all driven by the same issues and tensions: growing inequality, poverty, unemployment, and hopelessness... Even the world’s middle classes are feeling the squeeze of falling incomes and opportunities."

Roubini went on to say that capitalism is undergoing a crisis that Karl Marx predicted a century ago, driven by an ongoing transfer of wealth and power from labor to capital (in other words, from poor and middle-class people to rich people.)"

1. Yes absolutely
we are in the kind of crisis that will change us in ways we cannot predict.

BUt that wave is global and yes, the MODERN FORM OF CRONY CAPITALISM is in quite the crisis...

There are ways to solve it, but they require what neo liberals are not in the mood to do...

2. Income disparity
It is all due to income disparity that is higher than anytime since before the Great Depression. Sociopaths at the top of the income/wealth period are telling the rest of us to eat cake. People always eventually outweigh dollars.

5. Let them eat cake
This has repeated itself over and over again. One would think the upper class would be educated enough about history to realize the results of their actions.
