Sarah Palin's Interpretation of Blood Libel?
Blood libel (also blood accusation) refers to a false accusation or claim that religious minorities, almost always Jews, murder children to use their blood in certain aspects of their religious rituals and holidays. Historically, these claims have–alongside those of well poisoning and host desecration–been a major theme in European persecution of Jews.

The libels typically allege that Jews require human blood for the baking of matzos for Passover. The accusations often assert that the blood of Christian children is especially coveted, and historically blood libel claims have often been made to account for otherwise unexplained deaths of children. In some cases, the alleged victim of human sacrifice has become venerated as a martyr, a holy figure around whom a martyr cult might arise. A few of these have been even canonized as saints.

The Jewish owned media is sacrificing her to the liberal masses and then she'll become a matyr to her cult. Does that sound about right?

It's telling that when you look this up on WikiPedia it's labeled as antisemitism.

4. An Agent Provocatuer? An Assassin?
The RW and Teahadists are going to go nuts when they realize the damage of this term.

5. Beck as a source would not surprise me. This is the kind of mistake made by someone who really does
not have a good grasp of the historical meaning of words. One cannot imagine Bill Safire or William Buckley making this kind of mistake, for example.

OTOH, Sarah may well have come up with this one on her own. Much as George W. Bush did, Sarah just mashes words together into sentences and sometimes there is sense there and sometimes not.

7. In this case, she's playing the victim card
If someone pressed her even once to explain what she means by "blood libel" (coming attractions: "holocaust"), she'd sputter and gabble and accuse the questioner of victimizing her every bit as much as Gabrielle Giffords is oppressing her by getting herself shot in the head.

12. And contradicting the RW meme that words don't cause harm
In one sentence she's spouted out a horrible antisemite term and said that the lefts hatred a violence has consequences. Yet her sheeple just won't get the significance and won't understand why people will being going bat shit crazy over her statement. They have no curiousity to learn and will take whatever explanation is given for "blood libel."

8. It's just her narcissism kicking in with the most grandiose sounding phrase she and her handlers...
...can think of to paint a picture of her somehow being the victim in all this. Of course the grandiose phrase is going to be misunderstood by them. Understanding isn't the point. They are just trying to find a grave and heavy enough sounding phrase with which to bludgeon people who are trying to hold her accountable.

15. Dog whistle
When some people on the far right say "racism" they really mean "the black people hate you and think YOU are a racist, even though you are not and that is unfair."

Basically, they have turned the idea on its head to make it about whites being picked on by minorities. The message is "we are not racist any more, but THEY are. Be afraid. Don't trust them."

So, when Palin uses the term "blood libel," I wonder if she is trying to turn it into the same kind of double-edge sword -- only this time, to attack Jews.

The message: "We have stopped spreading blood libel, but THEY are now doing it to US. Be afraid. Don't trust them."

I could be over-thinking this. But I bet I'm not.

Some of the propaganda her people use is pretty sophisticated.

16. I agree but I still think it comes down to her thinking of herself as a martyr to the cause
She's so wrapped up in her guns, politics and religion, that it fits the profile.
