Poll question: Is Joey SCARborough becoming a Liberal?
My God, the logic that has been spewing from his thin lips lately. Yeah yeah, he is still star-struck with Governor 'Doughboy' Christie, but, he's sounding like he's on the verge of a conversion, like Ed Schultz was years ago. Fighting with beckenstein, chastising Snowbilly Palin.

What say you

3. IMO, there are some republicans who are actually that
Republicans. Not repugs, rethugs, repukes. Joey Scar has often said he doesn't like the direction his party is taking. There are other republicans who have said the same. Those people aren't necessarily the bad guys. In a way, they're getting screwed too. Don't get me wrong, I cannot STAND Joe but he's losing his party to the insane and he knows it.

4. I know a lot of repubs who feel like this...
They're the moderates and I've always felt that Joe is one...even though he's been a jerk at times. If he was running for office, he'd never get elected. The teabaggers won't have it.

15. I think you may be correct, but I think he's embarrassed
by the RW TV pundits, like the ones on Fox.

18. Yea, IMO Fox is simply the propaganda wing of his party.
It's all connected. DC, K-Street, C-Street, The Chamber of Commerce, Faux, Clear Channel.

6. I'd just chalk it up to even a broken clock being right twice a day and leave it at that.
He should be back to his old imbecile self in no time.

8. I say the poll choices suck
He's not becoming a liberal and never will. But he has shown some ability to be open minded and a willingness to buck Republican talking points when he strongly disagrees with them. I've noticed that potential in him for a long time even though his belief system remains solidly Republican. But I think spending 5 days a week having relatively prolonged and candid, and sometimes thoughtful discussions, with a wide range of people including a number who are clearly left of center, I think that has opened his mind a little more over the last year or so.

14. I was gonna politely differ but I thought sucks matched the poll tone better
I'm not pissed at you or your poll. Ya just should have offered at least one real alternative to either a miraculous conversion, a total fraud, or a cynic following the orders of his master. I admit though, pie is pretty good and that came close :)

13. I tend to agree. I think he's being pretty reasonable in keeping up the talk
About the attempted assassination and murders than if he was a RW hack. He's been out there decrying the violent rhetoric and RW extremism. They've been talking on his show about Palin apologizing for any contribution her obscene website, Tweets, Facebook lies, and comments in radio and TV appearances may have had on the shooter.

whatever that means to an (R)

If this shows anything at all it shows that the political middle is able to see through the crap that the RWers can't.

16. He's posturing.
To present himself as a "sane," "reasonable" R. Lord knows they're in short supply. He believes he still has a political future. But at the end of the day...he's still just another RW self-absorbed tool.
