Owner of Forum called LibertyPost.Org, Seems to be glad that Christina Taylor Green is dead
Edited on Wed Jan-12-11 04:33 PM by Ferret Annica
The response to a thread entitled: '9-year-old shooting victim was aspiring politician < Christina Taylor Green >', the owner of Liberty post made this post:

#3. To: WhiteSands (#0)
An aspiring LIBERAL politician.

Liberty Post has verbiage on the welcome page claiming it is an open to all speech forum. But this post is just one of many example how this forum owner - who is a strong Palin supporter - influences and manipulates the flow of her forum.

Just thought you'd like to see how a defensive, right wing Tea Party forum owner feels about murdered nine year old girls if they are perceived to be of the wrong political stripe.

Not somewhere a person would enjoy at all.

6. This is true. I was banned from there years ago during her anti immigrant crusade
She is a die hard Minuteman supporter and until she was laid off worked for a Department of Defense contractor for Air Force aircraft.

Most of her participants are banned FReepers. They also like LibertysFlame.com and there is a good forum among the group called the-peoples-forum.com where liberals banned from the conservative forums have made with the same open source forum software the others use.

16. Thanks, yes, no surprise this Tea Party forum owner feels this way
#2. To: Marguerite (#0)
This is the kind of sincere, eloquent speech a PRESIDENT should give. Or should have given.

It's full of strength, faith, love, and patriotism. In the aftermath of a tragedy, she has finished with a note of optimism for our nation, and our nation's future.

It's the kind of speech we EXPECT our President to give. But one that would literally choke on his lips.

Sarah Palin is more Presidential than any RINO out there. She's more Presidential than anyone since Reagan.

I really really hope she runs in 2012. She'd be a blessing for us all.

I have decided with this missive from her, that I will definitely vote for her.

I'd been undecided until now. But this really puts her over the top.

Thanks so much for the screenie. Goldi-Lox as you see by the above quoted post is ga ga for Palin and is aligned with the Tea Party. She has this forum aligned to primarily boost the political buzz on the right. And her words and beliefs should see the light of day because she has a higher profile than most people with this forum of hers'.

12. LibertyPost is where people go when they get kicked off Freeperville for being too openly fascist
It's an FR clone (it even looks like FR) without the moderation. On one hand, they don't ban liberals from posting there. On the other hand, the place is so infested with the hard right that only a masochist liberal would WANT to post there.

IIRC, it was spun off shortly after 9/11 when RimJob started the Great Purge. Before 9/11, RimJob allowed any self-styled conservative to post on his boards, and even allowed liberals to post there if they were "civil". After 9/11, he made the site a haven for Republicans and kicked out anyone who offered even the slightest disagreement to the Rethug party line or to Bush's actions. These purges included a lot of people who were actually to the RIGHT of the Republican Party.

The castoffs formed LibertyPost as an alternative. I rate it right up there with Stormfront in terms of its liberalism and friendliness (which is to say, it has none of either).

13. They have a "biker bar" selection, lower left on the home page
It is where most anti FReeper thread go to allow them to be more surly and uncivil as this puts them out of the main forum post flow. The 'BTTT' thing FReeps love so much.

She does routinely ban people who post articles critical of Palin.

24. Ah. I should have mentioned that I haven't visited it in five or six years.
No point in banging your head against a brick wall, IMHO. I visited before I posted that and it looked like nothing had changed. It doesn't suprise me to find out that she's become even less tolerant.

15. Now, let's be fair
After all, the folks at Liberty Post probably feel overmatched - physically and intellectually - by a 9-year-old girl. Their fear translates into relief mixed with glee when the threat is neutralized.

21. Please let's try not to politicize this tragedy
Only on DU would people think that circulating a screen shot of a mean comment posted by a random internet user to all your friends and family was some kind of a smart thing to do.

From what I have read about Christina, she was also an aspiring ballet dancer, baseball player, singer, student and businesswoman (paid by her neighbors to water their plants).

The fact that she was elected to the student council at her elementary school does not necessarily mean that she was determined to become a professional politician.

To single out this one aspect of her very short life is potentially misleading.

Let's give her family some space and time to grieve. The funeral is on Thursday.

22. This is not just a 'mean Internet user.' This woman is the owner of a medium sized forum...
... Known by many current and banned FReepers. She also was a key staff member for Ross Perot of the Independent, Reform party during his run for president against President Clinton.

If it was a random rank and file poster, I wouldn't of bothered threading this.
