1. My theory is when a state holds a primary *too prematurely*, it sacrifices
any substantial influence on the eventual nominee.

5. The point of a primary is to select a nominee, not to "influence" a pre-selected candidate.

2. This Will Be The Last Major Iowa Primary...
Look for a Cain or O'Bachmann or some un-electable to win that primary again. For the most part this primary has become a joke as it take up a lot of time and resources and has little real bearing on who the party nominees will be. This is especially the case with rushpublicans. If states like Florida and say Arizona or some bigger western state moves up, those primaries will bury the others.

3. Caucus not primary
the primary is for state level - the caucus is the non-binding thing we make such a big deal over.

4. This just in...
New Hampshire, not to be out done, has announced it's new primary schedule.

they will now hold a primary every other week starting today. The primaries will run up until election day. Then start all over the day after for the 2016 election.

New Hampshire republican election chairman stated, "I wish every day were primary day!"
