Cheap Bread...List YOUR area Thrift Bakery...Natures Own Multi Gran .99 cents
Please ad to a list of local Thrift Bakeries.

Greensboro, NC

We get the same multi grain bread that is $3.49 at our local super mkt from the trift bakery for 0.99

Great deals! Don't go on Wednesday as the selection is minimal.

1. Uh, my kitchen.
I actually don't know of any thrift bakeries here and didn't find any on citysearch, unless I didn't search correctly. I order a 50 pound bag of wheat berries every few years and grind it as I need it and it's pretty cheap.

2. I loved our Merita bread outlets but seems they closed them all.
Nothing has taken their place.

We used to load up on all kinds of bread, even raisin, cheap. Even a few goodies like jelly and coffee cake.

Sure do miss them.

5. Aldi's
If you don't have an Aldi's, it's too bad.
They have a great whole wheat bread.
And don't buy wheat bread unless it's labeled whole wheat. White flour is no bargain.

7. I admit to shopping at Aldi's, but they are non-union, so I don't make a habit of it.

but I'm hooked on Dave's Killer Bread. Nothing else comes close. Especially the good seed break. Mm-MM.
