Convinced that the federal government was conspiring against him, the 21-year-old man accused of firing rifle shots at the White House last week drove from Idaho to Washington in an old Honda Accord on a mission to kill President Obama, whom he described as “the devil” and “the anti-Christ,” authorities say...

Before Ortega-Hernandez was captured, investigators searched the Occupy D.C. campground near the White House but have found no connection between him and the Occupy protesters, according to three law enforcement officials familiar with the case.

First of all, the article that ran in our paper today and the one from yesterday afternoon that you refrenced both are fairly involved and clearly stated that there didn't seem to be any connection between him and ANY "radical organization". He also had started to claim he was Jesus and had, and arrest record in three states, and had been stopped in Virginia after the shooting but released after they took his picture.

Secondly, teabaggers have held demonstrations with open display of firearms. There a profound difference in the way the authorities have handled them and the OWS movement and I seriously doubt they would be searching teabaggers in their silly costumes and hats under the same circumstances even though many of them are OPENLY hostile toward Obama and Democrats in general.

As for OWS being included in the definition of a "radical organization", that's certainly how they are being treated in many places.
