is advocating charitable giving vs. taxes as a means for providing for those who need help.

I'd rather my taxes not be spent on war, however that doesn't mean I'd prefer to do away with taxes altogether and rely on charities to provide for all of society's needs.

6. I think the point of it is (to me anyway)
Is that your taxes are going to fund war and we have to rely on volunteers for feeding the homeless, and when you bring it up folks on the rw whine about it.
