“Defenders of Democracy” announces Saturday Ohio Statehouse Rally Against SB 5
Opponents to Senate Bill 5 are invited to attend a Rally this Saturday March 12th at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus. The Rally starts at 12:00 p.m. We will be meeting by the President McKinley Statue off of High Street.

1. They are going to ram this through next week...
It was my understanding that it might take another 2-3 weeks, but apparently the Ohio Republicans are going to rush it through and be done with it next week.

There is no way to stop it now, but protests might discourage more of this kind of thing in Ohio and elsewhere.

essence of democracy.

What next, some Pro-Life group protesting a possible majority vote that would prohibit abortions?

3. It is the way they are pushing it
through. They took a Republican off a committee and replaced him with a yes vote so they would have the votes to get it out of committee. They did this two times and are now doing it in the house. The bill should not have made it to the full Senate to be voted on. Thats democracy?
