“No soup for you.”
Edited on Thu Mar-31-11 11:25 AM by Cyrano
Every “Seinfeld” fan remembers the episode titled “The Soup Nazi.” For those who never saw it, a master soup maker/store owner demands that everyone who enters his store stand in a straight line, not complain, and not say anything other than the flavor soup they want. He throws out anyone for any infraction of his rules, real or perceived, with the statement, “No soup for you.”

Jerry Seinfeld foresaw today’s Republican Party.

“No Social Security for you.”

“No Medicare for you.”

“No unemployment insurance for you.”

“No minimum wage for you.”

“No unions for you.”

“No veterans benefits for you.”

"No education for you."

“No rights for you.”

“No anything for you.”

How the hell did we get here? How did we all become sheep who accept whatever is done to us? How did we let the “No soup for you" people take over our country and our lives?

3. Far too many did vote for this crap. They just didn't realize that
they were nothing more than just part of the sheep flock. Unfortunately, they still don't get it.

6. Sheep?
In my book sheep are the folks who just can't raise their heads long enough to realize their votes are being stolen. They just don't get it. In fact, they can't prove the vote because they don't count the vote and they are not allowed to count the vote. Computers and the programmers count the vote; people don't. Used to be people did count the vote. Back, y'know, when democrats got elected to most offices. Wait, are you gonna tell me the pukes wouldn't steal our votes?

7. No, I'm not telling you our votes aren't being stolen.
Of course they are.

What I am saying is that, in addition to stolen votes, there are enough fools who help to make elections close enough to steal.

9. Ummm, pass a law against stupid?
I don't have a clue of how to fix it. And I don't have a clue as to how we can put an end to the insanity that has become the everyday norm in America.

4. This is not our government anymore!
We are behind the curve, collectively, at being able to admit and grasp this fact.

Eventually, it will be close to impossible to deny it.

12. My guess is that there are more charitable soup kitchens in
America than at any time since the Great Depression.

And it's also my guess that there are Republicans trying to figure out how they can profit from these soup kitchens.

13. Maybe we've become the foreign visitors in our "homeland" and
the minders are keeping track of us and it makes us uncomfortable?

minder - someone (usually in totalitarian countries) who is assigned to watch over foreign visitors; "I turned around and there, a few hundred feet away, was our government minder, Li Wong Su, huffing and puffing toward us"
