Hundreds Turned Away At Free Cal Expo Health Clinic

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- By 4 a.m., hundreds of people were turned away from the free health clinic at Cal Expo.

Volunteers told families to come back at midnight on Sunday to wait for dental and medical services.

The free clinic runs through Monday, but they only have enough volunteers to treat 500 people a day.

Obviously, these are people who have never experienced this, or had to deal with the humiliation.

They put on their Salvation Army clothes, drive in from their fancy gated communities, park their expensive cars a few blocks away and walk in, just to avoid paying the forty dollar co-pay on their own insurance.
