This is the true reason why Donald Trump won't be a republican candidate:

"He is extremely sensitive to any gibes about his business record, which has been up and down over the years. During one down period, I referred to him in print as a 'financially embattled thousandaire,' and he sent me a copy of the column with my picture circled and 'The Face of a Dog!' written over it." —The New York Times' Gail Collins, explaining why Donald Trump ("the man who can make Bill O’Reilly look like the most sensible guy in the room") is far too wacky to be a serious presidential contender.

It would be great to get him into an aerospace wind tunnel some time.

Or just a good hurricane. You know what's painful? Watching any public figure spout something they themselves know is utterly false. That usually indicates to me they have no principals to stand on. At least those principals that require truth and honesty. Bearing false witness is not appealing to me. But what do I know? Modern dumbed down America would elect Charlie Sheen and Snookie to the White House if they ran!

2. I don't know. This world is changing fast.

Who knew that the last president was going to be clueless on world affairs and it didn't hurt him even when we discovered that his main architect, Rove, was so nasty that he would yell out "I will fuck him up! I will fuck him up!" to anyone who got in his way.

So Donald Trump wears his feeling on his sleeves. If he thinks he can succeed by turning on the Tea Partiers, then it's a gamble that might work for him.

Though, personally, I hope he's managed to expose just how superficial this entire process has become because I don't really believe that Trump believes what he's saying.

5. I don't think he believes what he's saying either.
He absolutely knows better. I think it's advertising and promotion, which he has always been good at. I also think he's smart enough not to throw his personal fortune down the toilet of a campaign that has no chance.

4. Trump doesn't want the public to know he isn't a billionaire.
He won't run for that reason.

This teasing of the public that he's running is a business promotion.

6. Even the money he has is inherited
He's the worst example of a trust-fund piece of shit who thinks he's some kind of business genius.
