MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County is expected to outpace state turnout at the ballot box today as voters decide not only a state Supreme Court seat, but also the next Milwaukee County executive.
Spring elections typically see an 8 to 10 percent turnout in the city. Neil Albrecht of the Milwaukee Election Commission said they are preparing for a showing of 25 to 30 percent.

"Normally we would have a small crew, almost a skeleton crew. Now, we have extra staffing at each one of our sites in anticipation of a bigger crowd. We don't want people to stand in line just because there is a higher turnout for the election," said Albrect.
