Something worth Noting, win or Lose...Wisconsin is a VERY Purple State

This is the kind of thing I'm used to seeing. While Madison is extremely Blue and Milwaukee is solidly blue, a lot of this state is ultra red like Waukesha. Remember, the 2000-2004 Presidential Elections were between 5-10,000 votes total between the Bush and Gore and Bush and Kerry.

1. A better way to put it might be a patchwork of smart and stupid

After all the shit Walker and the Rerpugs pulled, you'd at least think some of the "red" typers would at least feel a sense of moral outrage at the unlawful behavior, even if they're not "liberals"

2. They did. They turned out in droves to vote for Prosser.

Which means, to me, not that they're stupid (although I've been yelling it all evening) but that they process information differently. We know what we saw. Why didn't they? It's time our election strategies developed ways to reach people who see something else.

As I said, and firmly believe, this goes beyond ideology. If I were conservative, I'd still find Walkers behavior unacceptable and dangerous.

5. But voters knew where the candidates stood and what their party

affiliation was. The SC race in Wisconsin is proof positive once again that any democrat mouthing the two parties of the same mantra and supporting can't win third party candidates are doing damage to their own cause. Republicans are regimented and vote lockstep to prevent change they fear, yet democrats have left leaners doing everything they can to destroy even the remotest possibility of change.
