Jesse Ventura says he may consider getting back into politics if Ron Paul runs for president as an independent.

Former pro-wrestler and Minnesota governor, Jesse Ventura, says he would consider getting back into politics if Texas Congressman Ron Paul would run for president as an Independent.

Ventura told George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America" that he would "give great consideration to being his running mate."

But Ventura says he wouldn't run on Paul's ticket as a Republican.

The former governor dedicated his latest book "63 Documents the Government Doesn't Want You to Read" to Paul, who he says is the only federal elected official to "stand up for America" on the congressional floor.

Yes, Gore should have won, if the votes in Florida had been allowed to be counted properly and the SCOTUS hadn't intervened.

But even still, it shows that the 2000 election was quite close, with almost half the country voting for Bush. Close enough for the GOP to swoop in and steal it.

I saw him on Piers Morgan's show on CNN.

He told Piers we should always question the government because they lie to us and we prop up dictators around the world with taxpayers' money. He said he was in the Phillipines when we let Marcos be dictator.

Piers was just shocked. Piers acted like it was unpatriotic to ask questions.

Jesse also said that Oswald did not kill Kennedy. Jesse said "Because I couldn't do it. I got one shot off in eight seconds on a piece of crap bolt action Mannlicher-Carcano, and Oswald got three shots off in six seconds? And I'm certified as an Expert Marksman?"

That was interesting.

He also pointed out that politicians love to tell us to "move on" so that nobody will have to answer for their political crimes. I'm old enough to remember "Turn away from Watergate" from Nixon.
