27. That's an insult to cosplaying.
Cosplayers usually have a better notion of whatever character they're dressing as. And they know when they're dressing as a fictional character.

TeaTory costumes are more like packaging: so you pay attention to the wrapper, and make wrong assumptions about the product.

36. The lame$tream media ought to ignore the Tealiban
and their WBC buddies too. The only reason this bunch of banshees got into office is because the media gives them so much attention. While ignoring Democrats and HUGE Democratic rallys - the media pander to the Tealiban rallys with 10 people and give them primetime exposure instead.

Pfft. If they'd "blackout" the Tealiban same as they do the Democrats/Progressives, they'd be just as invisible - and they'd never get elected.

The MEDIA has a lot to do with who gets (s)elected to office. They have a lot of power in this regard. Don't think they don't know it.

4. But......but.....but
The House passed a budget, the Senate didn't!!!!
:eyes: :sarcasm:

How soon they forget that their allies in the Senate blocked the Democrats from passing a budget last year and the Senate is not obligated to simply approve whatever the House GOP/teabaggers want either. President Obama and the Democrats in Congress have shown themselves to be amenable to compromise (and, honestly, I think Boehner and some other Republicans are too) but as long as the teabaggers are demanding that the Senate adopt the RADICAL House GOP budget or shut everything down (and the House GOP leadership decides to do their bidding), they should ultimately be held responsible for a shutdown IMHO.

5. Please do!
If the Democrats have any balls at all they will embrace this and use it to force the GOP to roll back many of the gains Republicans have already gotten like the tax cuts for the rich.

15. I'm with you
Let's inflict some real "austerity" on the country and see how that plays with the baggers. It seems most of them are just clueless as to how many government services they actually use.

Edited on Wed Apr-06-11 12:43 PM by Hubert Flottz
Until the troops turn their backs on them.

Edit...How the hell is not paying taxes like GE or EXXON are doing, supporting the very troops that protect their investments abroad?

How's an honest Tory going to pay for all those expensive hobbies if millionaires and multinational corporations have to pay taxes?

They will be forced to go on welfare?
