4. I live in the Houston area. New Caney is farther than a suburb.

You don't have to go far outside of Houston to be in the country. It's about 15-20 minutes north-east from North Sam Houston Tollway. That's far enough around here to be in a rural area.

but south of the city. It is "rural" south of Pearland too, but it is not the same kind of rural as west texas. I'm sure they are aiming for guests from the Woodlands/Spring, but will also pull from the rest of the Houston area. I'm actually surprised we don't have more theme parks/attractions here given the population. I know they have been trying to unload the Astrodome for that sort of thing for a long time.

At any rate, good to hear there will be more jobs in an area that needs them - that is a good thing.

It will be in New Caney, TX, which is about 15-20 miles from Houston city limits. This is "Ted Poe" country. He's my rep. too :puke:

The Children's Museum in Houston is pretty cool, and it combines science/learning and fun things. This is the concept on a much grander scale.

here in Chicago as well, its probably the most visited museum.
