I'm sure that anyone who watches Tweety, Larry O', or Rachael has seen this ad...

Folks, Zurich is dredging for our jobs. Its not like the canal will be used for more US manufacturing exports.

Fuck Zurich!

3. Yes.
And the most efficient and profitable way to enable more Chinese offshoring of our jobs. According to financial management/insurance group, Zurich, it must be done.

10. We finished off the Panama Canal...
time for the Zurichians to pony up the costs of what they demand. That would be a first.

13. Nimitz and Ford class carriers are bigger than Panamax.
But then again panamax is supposed to be updated to a larger size in 2014. The Iowa class battleships were designed to be compliant. Perhaps the standard was abandoned with the decision to maintain several fleets throughout the world instead of just an Atlantic and Pacific fleet.

even more than a deep water port in Baja California & fleets of Mexican trucks headed north.

why?

because ships that now have to dock in S Cal & have their contents trucked (or shipped by rail) back east, will no longer have to.. they will transit the canal and unload in Texas, Louisiana & Florida.

He's praying that his job lasts a few more years until he retires.
