She was unknown, had 33% turnout, and yet Kloppenburg took down an entrenched incumbent against being outspent by the KochHEAD brothers 3-1. Yes, I know there will be a re-count, but I think she'll prevail in the end. (And what about the absentee ballots in Milwaukee? Won't those give her a higher margin?)

THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRATIC LOOKS LIKE ! And you know after last night, generally a good Dem night, that the PUKES are shitting over what will happen in the recalls and in 2012. So there GOPukes, eat that steaming shitburger !

1. Well, I can tell you that Walker did NOT get the message. But that's ok
cuz we're going to toss his Senate majority (and then him) to the curb like last week's cat droppings.

6. Late last night they started counting 8,000 absentees in Milwaukee ....
then I never heard anything about them being added into the total.

Has anyone else?

8. How absentee ballots are counted in WI:
http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/wivoteguide

Myth: Absentee ballots are not counted on Election Day and only count if the vote is close.
Fact: Absentee ballots are processed on Election Day by the same election officials who process ballots cast in person.

The municipal clerk, on Election Day, has couriers deliver the absentee ballots to the appropriate polling site. At some point on Election Day, officials follow a specific procedure to count the absentee ballots. In Milwaukee, absentee ballot will be processed in a central location for the entire city.

If the ballot is completed properly, the enveloped is opened, the voter is checked off the registration list as having voted absentee and the ballot is run through the machine – the same as the ballot cast by a voter who is present in the polling place. Wis. Stat. 6.88(3)(a).

9. Okay, that tells us how it is done. Thank you.
But has it been done yet? Are the absentee ballot totals part of her 204 vote margin?

10. The answer to that should be yes since they are counted along with the others
last night. In other words, there are not thousands of absentee ballots left to be counted.
