This is what I'm guessing happened to Donald Trump and his attitude towards Obama and the birth cert
I'm guessing Donald Trump got all 'trumpity' and went to Obama thinking that perhaps Obama would give him some sort of job or ambassadorship. I mean Trump has always identified himself as a democrat even though it borders sometimes on 'in-name-only' status. I guess Trump figured he knows money (how to spend it, how to earn it and how to file bankrupcy) and wanted a position somewhere on an economic team with the Obama administration. Obama, recognizing that in general Trump is a pompous asshole with a bad hairpiece said 'thank you but we have this covered'. And Trump doesn't like rejectiion very much - if The Donald offers his services you take it even if you have absolutely no use and he's the least qualified to do it - you do it because he's Donald Trump.

After the rejection, Trump realizes he is a celebrity mouthpiece of his own with a hit reality TV show - so he figured he'd pick a topic to piss off Obama and the democrats and take it to the airwaves. Because if Trump says "I'd like to be on your talk show" people generally say "Where and When". The Birth Certificate issue was always a bit of a weird topic in regards to Obama so Trump decided to trumpify the topic the nth degree.

Seriously though, he's an asshole

2. Trump Knows A Fish...
This is a cynical game to draw attention to his teevee show by making "headlines" (thanks to his benefactors at NBComcrap). Remember, he played with the Democrats in '08 but no one took him seriously. This year Democrats and their primaries are going to be boring...but the rushpublicans are one big crazy train and Da Donald is playing 'em like a Stradavarius. The scary thing is the GOTB takes him seriously cause he's spewing the crazy they want/need. The more off the rails he goes the more "cred" he gets in the parallel universe and the more he can milk this latest stunt. The fact he polls ahead of some of the "legitimate" candidates shows how screwed up that corrupt party is. He's just yanking chains and hopes to turn it into ratings gold. If they're stupid enough to nominate him, just think of the reality show possibilities...

Cheers...

3. Trump certainly knows how to use the media.
I don't think he truly believes all the crap he spouts, but he does know it will get him national coverage. It spurs on the people who want to believe Obama was not born in the USA. Who was it that said There is a sucker born every minute? Was it Barnum. Whoever it was was correct. There are many suckers in this country. The biggest sucker is the media.

6. Trump makes decisions based on what's best for Trump......
...and not based on honor and integrity. HE's a narcissist through and through. Never, ever, trust a narcissist. They will step on you to get past rather than walk around you. I see Trump as an opportunist. He has mastered manipulation of the media and getting free publicity. How would you like to have your life in the hands of Trump?

8. Exactly,what I was thinking ...
when he started this newest theme. I watched him when Obama was first elected and I was waiting for him show who he really is for those who think he is someone to look up to for advice as though he is the ultimate authority on business or running a government.

Pompus, arrogant and from what I can tell so are his children. Many,in the media seem to be afraid of him and dance around criticizing him because they know he is watching..
