Self-proclaimed birther Donald Trump is now so doubtful of President Obama's birthplace that he's sent a team of his own investigators to Hawaii in hopes of getting to the bottom of the issue.

That's according to Trump himself, who, in an interview with NBC, warned his investigators just might uncover "one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond."

"I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're finding," Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning.

20. Do you have your original birth certificate? States maintain those and only some sort of

validated copy is released to the parents/child. The original has been shown by the state of Hawaii. Anything found in an old book (where's your proof that Obama ever said that?) would be either a decorative certificate from a hospital or a copy of the birth certificate.

It wasn't a 'long form'? That it didn't have an embossed seal, which it wouldn't if it was the orginal. Nobody born in the US since 1900 has their orginal birth certificate. The states are mandated to keep them. You may only get a copy (certified or verified in a variety of ways) to have in your possession or use to prove your citizenship.
