Proposed policy changes in Republican budget (PDF) - UNBELIEVABLE
THIS IS HOW YOU NEGOTIATE:

http://www.ombwatch.org/files/budget/OMB_Watch-HR1_Policy_Riders.pdf

A *FEW* Excerpts from a LAUNDRY LIST of right wing goals:

Prohibits funding for the Wetlands Reserve Program.

Prohibits funding for the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act.

Prohibits funding for the IRS to implement health care reform.

Prohibits funds to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., or any of its affiliates.

Prohibits funds to carry out the medical loss ratio restrictions in the health care reform law.
These provisions require insurers to spend at least a certain percent of their premium revenues
on medical care

Prohibits transferring detainees from Guantanamo Bay.

Blocks funds for the Federal Communications Commission to institute Net Neutrality rules.

2. Yes.I just looked at that. It's 4 pages of cuts to all kinds of good things.
WHY isn't anyone listing those things on the idiot box??????????????? All I've heard is Planned Parenthood and EPA not funded. There are LOTS of other things..... Take a look at it...... spread it around.

3. We HAVE to come out and say we will pass the funding for the military ONLY, but
none of these things that aren't part of this issue that's looking us in the face. The Dems haven't made their argument about what is IN the proposal -- the majority of Americans probably have no idea - all they hear is the Republicans saying The Dems Don't Want To Take Care Of Our Troops. :grr:

6. Responded on the other thread but you're right. They HATE the EPA and HCR
and have huge sections targeting them. But they certainly love them some Guantanamo Bay detainees staying there indefinitely... creepy.

7. Now watch as full on absurd and arguably insane positions are put on the table
and these fuckers will end up with more than anyone including them would ever guess was possible.

We, meanwhile throw up their old fuckwit proposals from when they pretended to some degree to wish to govern, plausible denial stuff but at least the pretense. That rot is actually the stuff we START negotiations with assholes who are of course, going to say no to planned failures straight out of the Heritage Foundation.

Our "leaders" are either fucktards of the first magnitude or ratfuckers of equal rank.

The end result of our victories in 2006 and 2008 will inevitably be a people in worse shape than after eight years of Bush because their fundamental agenda has not only not been reversed but advanced.

Any progress in a few areas will be more than offset by massive defeats in other ones.
