These other races seem to have been timely reported.

The only race to show over 14000 votes is the race for the Supreme Court Justice -- Prosser or Kloppenburg.

I saw some information about a mayoral race in Brookfield but do not see a tally posted.

The total population of Brookfield was about 39,700 in 2006.

What they did today was double check the votes/totals - they call that 'canvassing'.
They didn't finish today in all the counties so they will start up again in the morning.

6. A canvas is required by law, to make sure the vote totals

match what has been reported. In Illinois, IIRC, the election authority (county clerk) has to provide a unit by unit vote total, I believe, 21 days after the election. The party chairs for each county go in and look at the totals. They work together to see that everything matches. Also, the State Board of Elections, the equivalent of the Government Accountability Board in WI, asks for random precincts to be rescanned and recounted. The party chairs witness this, too. The results that are verified are then sent to the Illinois State Board of Elections. If something does not match, that is sent in, too. If it is off by one or two votes, well, it is what it is. But SEVEN THOUSAND?

I am pretty sure that municipal elections are canvassed in Illinois. I don't know Wisconsin law.
