All our $$$ went to the Red Bar
Off-the-charts income gains for super-rich
By Zachary Roth

In recent years, we've been hit with a barrage of statistics, charts, and even full-length books, documenting how inequality is on the rise in America.

But very few of them capture what's happened over the last 30 years or so as well as this image:

1. Does anybody around here have
an actual dollar amount of just how much is going to: "someone to (sic) lazy to get a job, aka. parasite, or some illegal alien getting “free” health care, food, education among the many perks for our illegals"?

A best estimate will do fine.

About the same time employers stopped sharing the productivity with the employees.

4. Problem started with Reagan's siren song of "We all could be so much better off with
new ideas, new policies. Trust me."

It sounded as though he were going to preserve the system of shared economic wealth. Thought he had changed his rightwing rhetoric to political reality. In fact, he changed everything but his rhetoric. He only told us whatever had to be said to get our vote.

5. I'd like to see stats on wealthy people that make the majority
of their money from the government. Defense contractors would be the most obvious. Their not being willing to pay taxes is is what pisses me off. They get rich off tax payers but don't pay their share.
I personally know a few middle class people that are the same way. People in the medical field that would be screwed if not for getting to work on medicare patients. One retired Microsoft employee who had to have gotten a significant amount of his income from government contracts.
