Tea Party Files Lawsuit: Ohio school district is sued after blocking event
Posted: 04/09/2011

MANSFIELD, Ohio - A lawsuit alleges an Ohio school district violated a tea party group's civil rights when it withdrew permission for the group to have an event on school grounds featuring a speaker who some activists say is anti-Islamic.

The Mansfield North Central Ohio Tea Party Association sued Mansfield City Schools this week.

Mansfield's superintendent said the district decided March 28 to withdraw permission because of concerns about safety amid potential demonstrations.

He defended the decision and said it wasn't based on the presumed content of the speech by Usama Dakdok, who founded a ministry that preaches conversion from Islam to Christianity.

1. If the tea party wins this
we might as well just lock the doors and give up, because we have completely lost all hope.

4. They also want public school teachers (who they hate) to teach their kids creationism ...
as if it was a science.

I mean really, what kind of an idiot would want teachers who they view as over paid and incompetent teaching their kids religion?

There is no reason or logic in their world.

3. Why doesn't the local Chamber provide space?
