Ed Shultz - the black agenda just started on
M#NBComcast. It's two hours - he began tearing Paul Ryan's budget a new one.

1. Thanks for the reminder!
I stream it from TVPC so it's not on at the "advertised time" for me but much earlier.

3. I didn't realize it was going to be a live discussion - great!
For some reason I thought it was going to be a documentary style presentation. That would have been fine but this is A+++++.

11. West came off as a bit of a jerk.
Unfortunate for what the discussion might have delivered.

12. Nobody on the panel has been a jerk, imo
But of course if you happen to disagree with Dr. West then I can understand your knee jerk reaction to his point of view.

15. They went off like firecrackers
They really aren't that far off from each other. And their goals are the same as they are for all of us who aren't in the top 1% income bracket. But West isn't cutting the president a whole lot of slack these days even though he supports him at the same time.

17. Kneejerk? Really?
My complaint was about the conversation turning into a shouting match. A lot of people probably tuned out at that, and THAT is a damned shame because what was being said needed to be heard. The screeching will be remembered, not the substance.

18. I heard no "screeching" only loud talking
Sounds like you hung in there. If other people tuned out I couldn't care less. People can easily get loud when they're passionate about things.

I'm sure you got over it by now.

13. Yes indeed
Don't think he liked Al's very quick response about people sitting in ivory towers expecting Obama to solve everything. :D

16. Al was itching for a tussle
Edited on Sun Apr-10-11 12:18 PM by eleny
The thing he forgot is that West has said over and over that he still supports the president and will be voting for him in '12. He's just keeping Obama's feet to the fire as the president requested.

P.S. Al's digs sure looked like an ivory tower. Nice Sub Zero fridge and the view, oh my! Oh, the irony.
