Wisconsin’s Election Smacks of Fraud not ‘Human Error’
JoAnne Kloppenburg initially declared victory over Conservative incumbent David Prosser in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. But, that’s dramatically changed due to an unconvincing “human error.”

The initial results of the highly anticipated race, then the outcome, gave Gov. Walk pause as he tried to convince the public that the result was not a referendum on him, or his legislation that attempted to eradicate Collective Bargaining rights from unions, or the state’s Republican Party. There was/is a lot on the line.

Wisconsin’s Gov. Walker, claimed his anti-union position was due to budget failings. The failings in the budget are due to his own tax policies. After unions agreed to a compromise, the stubborn Governor went for broke, with an all out attack on Collective Bargaining Rights to forge ahead with his agenda.

1. Unless there are 14000 signed pieces of paper to back up that "tally" it won't go far.
However, there will be many who will claim fraud even when and if it is proven that it was clearly the actions of an incompetent county clerk.

6. What's the difference?
The system is not safe, transparent, foolproof, reliable and verifiable. How can we trust any results?

8. You actually don't understand the difference between numbers on a computer
and an actual physical paper trail that can be touched, verified, and recounted. If you are dealing with humans, than nothing is ever "foolproof", but our ballots here in Wisconsin are indeed verifiable.

10. Verifiable in theory. Let's see whether they are verified in practice.
Most of them will likely be run back through the optical scanners and never looked at by human eyes.

12. Those who live seem to be keeping it together better than out-a-staters
I think that's actually because we have a better understanding of how this is going to play itself out.

2. Janky, hinky, sketchy.................
I saw the "human error" lady give her statement.
She didn't look particularly devious, but ..............that's it? Just "OOPS."

7. same lady admitted to being on state payroll for 13 years working for the Republicans
Instead of the state - her boss? Prosser.

She's a partisan hack, with a record of corruption. Bring on the investigation - and this time put that election stealing, anti-American, partisan terrorist in JAIL.

9. AP took flawed data....
And reported it as fact. Never checked with another source, didn't verify in any way whether the numbers were accurate. Or not. (Is fact checking even taught in J-school anymore?)

Ms. Kitzinger looked at what was recorded......then verified the tally. I don't like it any better than anyone else.....but it is what it is.

3.5 MILLION.....for nothing.:-(

11. Oh, it's the AP's fault. That's a good one. Just how would you propose the AP
do more than it did on election night?

14. What "other source" would have the tally, besides the county clerk?
Edited on Sun Apr-10-11 08:07 PM by Brickbat
AP stringers sit at the county clerk's office and call in numbers as the precincts come in.

ETA: You could have someone at the precincts, I suppose, but those numbers would not be official.
