16. What can be positive when we are in such a hole. Obviously these are painful times.

The point is to influence where the cuts will be taken, not to be destroyed by the fact that we have to cut at all.

To think that Obama can magically create revenue to keep all the goodies Democrats have built over the years is unrealistic and frankly irresponsible. To keep what we have the numbers must work now and in the future. Studying the numbers and offering solutions based on reality is the only way to make sense of things.

I like your posts on the eagle thread for one. you aren't alone having difficulty defending the president or Dem party. As far as the opinions on DU, they are diverse, so despite what it seems sometimes, you are not alone. most of the time I dont get responses to my posts either. If you must leave, i hope you dont stay away too long!

.....don't think people aren't listening. They are. And responding. And agreeing...More than you might think. Go spend some time on a hobby you love, refresh your mind, and come back to help make DU the best site on the "nets".
