Raising revenue: Why it's good for families but not for government.
Beats the hell out of me.

Everyone in Washington seems to think the average American is a lazy slob that needs to get a third job.

However, raising taxes on the wealthy even a little is taboo. God forbid they'd have to sell that eighth home or 14th Mercedes.

1. I think everyone realizes revenues will need to go up.

That is supposedly the rationale for simply extending the Bush cuts instead of making them permanent.

We are just waiting for a more robust economy.
