1. The same way Mark Kirk got elected
Dirty corporate money, and a southern half of the state full of red neck farmers.

10. You must be joking.
We used to hang in the same circles.

The Joe Walsh I knew was pretty much a dumb-ass dolt.

13. He is not THE Joe Walsh...
...of James Gang, The Eagles, et al.

Although THE Joe Walsh has apparently run for President (1980), and Vice Prez (1992), according to his Wikipedia entry.

6. I thought DU would be happy with him, we got rid of a hated Blue Dog!
This person is unfortunately my congressman, he defeated Melissa Bean by a few hundred votes last year.

When you whine about the "Blue Dogs" remember that this is the alternative.

8. Emotions. Emotions. Emotions. The Republicans had roiled
up the people. The people were already angry over
the economy, add the Tea Party types and Republicans
get in there and stir the pot. Throw the Bums out.
Republicans are expert at emotionalizing the election.
If you are all roiled up, you will go and vote.
