HELL NO!!! - Prosser Campaign: Kloppenburg Should 'Avoid The Unnecessary Drama Of A Recount' - TPMDC
Prosser Campaign: Kloppenburg Should 'Avoid The Unnecessary Drama Of A Recount'
Eric Kleefeld | TPMDC
April 12, 2011, 5:19PM

<snip>

The campaign of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser is now saying that challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg should consider the heavy odds in a recount -- and that the margin shifts that occur in them are quite small.

As WisPolitics reports, Prosser's campaign released a statement pointing out that that the largest ever vote swing in a Wisconsin statewide recount has only been 489 votes. Prosser's current lead is over 7,000 votes. "History does not provide a rosy picture of recounts of a half a percent or less," said Prosser campaign spokesman Brian J. Nemoir. "While there may be a legal right to a recount, after a review of past‐results and consideration for the heavy burden upon the state, it is in the best interests of the state to have the common sense decision be made to avoid the unnecessary drama of a recount."

The Kloppenburg campaign did not immediately return TPM's request for comment.

Thug Agenda for Tuesday, April 12, 2011

1) 5:00 PM - Nickolaus reads (prepared) public statement to announce she will not quit despite calls for her resignation from the chairman of the Waukesha County Democratic Party. Downplay the significance of the incident(s). Convince the sheep there is no illegal election activity going on, only "mistakes". Play into sheep's sympathy (thus weakening them) by having her repent and vow to earn back the trust of her constituents. Establish subliminal message that the Wisconsin RW has the power and control in this state. Any resistance is futile.

2) 5:20 PM - Have Prosser Campaign release (prepared) statement announcing that Kloppenburg Should 'Avoid The Unnecessary Drama Of A Recount'. Convince the sheep this would be "unnecessary" as she certainly would not win given (apparent -heh heh) heavy odds. (There is no illegal election activity going on, only "mistakes"). Make sheep believe that pursuing a recount would be frivolous "drama". Subliminal message: Kloppenberg and her followers had better "Avoid" it or else...Wisconsin RW has the power and control in this state. Any resistance is futile.

6. What's the saying
"A woman scorned...."

The fact that the Prosser campaign has made this statement is an indication that they have something to hide. The Republicans are stupid.....

8. Prosser campaign that 14,000 votes were missing before. Maybe more later...
Edited on Tue Apr-12-11 09:51 PM by cascadiance
This just fits that they want us to focus all attention on Douglas to keep us from checking the other crap elsewhere. We should check all of the other "late" Prosser votes that came in late in the evening. You just KNOW they knew the voting margin of the Prosser votes in the missing city all night and wanted to make sure that they were able to "create" votes elsewhere that gave them that 7500+ vote margin to avoid the automatic recount and then released it after they had those totals "lined up". And if the Dems JUST recounted Waukeshaw, they wouldn't find anything and then they'd say "See?" after they the "magicians" played their cards in other districts to steal the needed votes for the win.

I think the Prosser campaign senses that we won't be satisfied with just recounting Waukeshaw, and is now trying to "encourage" us not to do a full state-wide recount that would catch their election theft.

9. I just read this update for Wisconsin judicial elections on Kos
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/04/12/966093/-20,000-more-votes-than-ballots-%28Waukesha-county,-2006%29

TUESDAY UPDATE:
Apparently this diary came to the attention of Kathy Nickolaus, and she issued a statement about the discrepancy.

Asked about the blog report, she told the Journal Sentinel via email: “The answer to your question is that the number of ballots cast on the summary report will not equal the number of votes cast. It only reflects the votes reported electronically to the office. I have added an asterisk with this clarification to the webpage.”

The ballots have to be counted. I would disqualify the electronic votes because they cannot be verified. THAT's why Nickolaus said the votes were on her computer! THIS WOMAN IS A CRIMINAL AND SO ARE THE ENTIRE TEA PARTY AND REPUBLICANS! It's getting loud so I would think no one is going to walk away from this until it's settled.

Unless Roberts steps in and awards the position to Prosser the Prostate!
