Anti-pornography politician resigns… for watching porn in parliament

An Indonesian politician who fought for tough anti-pornography laws has resigned after he was spotted watching adult content in parliament.

A journalist photographed Arifinto (who like many Indonesians only has one name) looking at a sexually explicit movie on a tablet computer during a parliamentary debate.

He apparently watched the footage for several minutes while colleagues discussed plans to build a new parliamentary building last Friday.

Arifinto has been front page news in Indonesia since his indiscretion, with Facebook and Twitter also buzzing about the scandal. ..........(more)
