Let them know that I give ONLY DIRECTLY to PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS WHO KNOW MY NAME and that I could give a crap about their "matching" corporate donors - that I'd rather back a Democrat who knew my name like Alan Grayson who gave a damn about what I thought and was there to do MY bidding instead of the bidding of the multi-national corporations. I told them that it was groups like the D-trip-C that killed the public option and they could just go ahead and cross me off their list - and then I hung up.

Aren't DCC people, but most often young people, and more often people in or on the edge of poverty. So Congrats on hanging up on someone who probably doesn't have enough money to donate to campaigns without giving up essentials. You showed how progressive you are and your boasting about your boorish behavior just seals the deal. Well done.

after big bucks. Didn't get them though. This guy was not some young kid - he was in his thirties or forties.

I don't have pity on telemarketers especially when they call from organizations I don't have respect for.
