Only a Republican would think you can cut a foot off the top of a blanket,....
...sew it onto the bottom of the blanket, and end up with a longer blanket. They call it "a budget".

3. Well, it depends on how you look at it. I used the "tax burden" in my example.
If you look at "tax cuts", then bottom to top works.

5. That's actually the source of the original quote - "Only goverment would think..."
It was the analysis of an elderly Native American many years ago.
